Adam Cvijanovic is an American painter, born in Cambridge, lives and works in New York. He often paints in large format using Tyvek sheets as a substrate, which allows his work to be easily installed in multiple locations. He has been invited to create site-specific works for the recent New Orleans Biennial, Prospect 1, and previously for the Liverpool Biennial at Tate Liverpool has exhibited in numerous museums and galleries in America and Europe. He had solo exhibitions at the Ucla Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, in 2005; the exhibition with Peter Garfield at Mass moca, Massachusetts in 2007. His works have been exhibited at the P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Centre in New York and included in the exhibition Usa Today, curated by Charles Saatchi’s collection at the Royal Academy in London and the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
