The sculpture considered by historians to be an absolute excellence among the various known versions, for the extraordinary excavation patina and the effective chisel, participated in the exhibition of the exhibition on Gemito " Le Sculpteur De L'Âme Napolitaine " held at the Petit Palais Musée Des Beaux-Arts De La Ville De Paris and the Capodimonte Museum of Naples, curated by Jean-Luop Champion, in 2019 and published in the catalog on page 168 as a private Neapolitan collection.

In the exhibition the sculpture was the subject of a comparison of presentation next to the original bronze from the Roman era of the 1st century AD. of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, and to a version by Gemito from the collections of the Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte.
