engraved on the back the trademark "SEVRES", the date of April 8, 1819, the serial number N. 2 , and the signature "Li" relative to the modeller depicting Charles Ferdinand of Artois, Duke of Berry (1778 - 1820), second son of the Count of Artois, future King of France with the name of Charles X, and Maria Theresa of Savoy.
The bust in second magnitude is part of the first series of busts of the Duke made by the Manufacture of Sevres.
